Mountain Home

A true "Mountain Home", this large, rustic, three-story dwelling has five picturesque bedrooms with private bathrooms that can be rented separately or the entire house can be rented as a single unit for families or groups of any kind. The "Early American" parlor is a common area with television and video for all guests, while the kitchen and dining rooms are available for use when rented to a single group. Built in the picturesque log style, all eight non-smoking suites offer a king size bed in the loft and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, a wood burning stove, a bath and fully equipped kitchenette on the main floor. New at Pinewoods Resort is the spacious Family Suite, which has its own deck, a large family room with sofa sleeper, a lovely full kitchen and dining room, plus four bedrooms and two and a half baths. A beautiful gas fireplace not only heats the large living-dining room but adds a soothing atmosphere to the entire place. The Family Suite sleeps up to ten people. Click here for amenities

The restaurant exudes the charm of a cozy Country Inn, with wood burning stoves, antiques and exposed wooden beams all contributing to a warm ambience that invites you to come again and again while the excellent service and soul satisfying cuisine makes for a delightful dining experience for one person or groups. The lobby of the restaurant also serves as the resort office and gift shop.

Across the lobby from the dining room in the restaurant is a "Private Club" where guests may have alcoholic beverages with their food, watch television, visit with friends or just enjoy the fire and relaxed atmosphere. Memberships are extremely reasonable ($12 a year), and short-term memberships are always available along with guest arrangements.
