Cedar Breaks is only 21 miles away from Pinewoods by car and can even be reached in summer by bicycle or in winter by snowmobile or X-C skis. Originally known by local Native American tribes as the "Circle of Painted Cliffs," the fantastic, richly colored cliffs fold and twist along a canyon rim that rises to over 10,000 feet with amber and purple tinted slopes and spires filling the 2,500 ft. deep main amphitheater.
